#1 passes to #3 #1 cuts to the corner #2 cuts right behind #1 and goes to the block. If #2 is open #3 passes to him for the lay-up. Anytime #2 goes to the block, we know that we are in the SHUFFLE SET. #5 pops out to the top of the key. |
If #2 is not open for the lay-up. #3 passes out to #5. #5 then reverses to #4. |
#2 backscreens for #3. #3 cuts over or under the screen and goes to the opposite block. #4 passes to #3 for the lay-up. |
If #3 is not open for a lay-up... #5 downscreens for #2. #4 passes to #2 for the 3-pointer. #3 goes to the corner. #1 comes up to the wing. After #5 screens he turns back to the ball and starts looking for #2's defender. |
If #2 is not open for 3-pointer... #5 comes back and sets a ball screen. #2 shoots the 3-pointer or drives hard off the ball screen for a lay-up. |
If #2 is cut off by his defender, he passes out to #1 for a 3-pointer and cuts to the corner. If #1 has no shot, he begins dribbling to the top. #4 comes high on the left side. #3 moves up to the wing. #5 moves to the middle of the free throw line. This puts us in our CHIN SET which we will look at next month..... |
