Great set (1) vs. man defense
1) Great Set (1) vs. Man Defense

Box set to begin.

#1 chooses a side to enter after the down screen from #4 ande #5.

Here we see #1 enter the ball to the right wing man #3.
2) Great Set (1) vs. Man Defense

After entering the ball to #3, #1 cuts through the lane and breaks out to the ball side corner area.

The opposite post player (opposite the ball) flashes to the high post to receive the next pass from #3.

Here we have an isolation with #5 inside as he steps in the lane and seals his defender looking for the high / low entry pass from #4.

If #5 is not open, #5 continues his cut across the lane while #4 reverses the ball to #2 on the left wing.
3) Great Set (1) vs. Man Defense

As soon as #4 passes to #2, he moves over to set a ball screen for #2.  If #2 was denied the pass, #4 could also execute a dribble hand off and continue the same action on this play.

#2 comes off the ball screen (or dribble hand off) and takes the ball to the middle of the floor on top.

#5 starts to move up the lane while #1 cuts into the lane area near the basket.
4) Great Set (1) vs. Man Defense

After #4 has screened (or handed the ball off) with #2, #4 will then get a double staggered back screen from #5 and #1.

#2 passes to the right wing player #3 who will look inside to #4 on the right low block.
5) Great Set (1) vs. Man Defense

If #4 does not receive the ball, #5 will turn around and set a screen for #1 who will also get another screen from #2.

#3 will look to hit #1 on top coming off of this double staggered screen from #5 and #2.
