Motion Offense (Back Screen Shooting)
Two lines. Player on top has a basketball. One of the managers or coaches or another player will have a basketball on the left side of the floor. Player on top makes a pass to the left wing player (or coach) and receives a back screen from the player stepping up the lane. The player (or coach) who received the pass will hit the cutting player with a pass and will complete the layup. The player who back screened, will "shape up" or step towards the basketball to receive the pass from the other player (or coach) on the left wing and will take the jump shot. Players will switch lines and the drill continues quickly with two new players. Move to the left side after several repetitions. |
