Pre-Practice Shooting (2)
Players line up at the top of the key. First player steps up and receives pass from the coach or manager (or another player) underneath the basket. On the catch, player will execute a proper shot fake and dribble drive to the elbow (1 dribble only) for the jump shot. After shooting he will back peddle to the top of the key and await the next pass from the coach, manager or player. He then will catch, shot fake and drive to the other elbow for the jump shot. Player remains in the shooting spot until they make (5) total shots. Once completed, next player steps in and executes the drill. |
