Duke Set Play

Stack offense. #2 comes under a double screen by #3 and #5. If X2 tries to go over the top, #2 will fade to the corner for a three point shot. #1 will make a safe pass to #2, #3 and #5 will set a tough screen.

If X2 trails #2 under the screen, #2 will curl to the free throw line for a jump shot. He should not curl in tight off the screen because X5 will give too much help.

If they play good defense on #2, #3 will then cross under #4 who will set a good screen for him and #3 will look for the shot.

Duke Set Play

Now if #3 cannot shoot, #4 will screen for #5 to go low and #4 will roll back high to the elbow. #4 must be on the elbow and #5 on the block. This will make the spacing perfect. #4 cannot stop at mid-post.
