I know that by the time you read this, the playoffs will be over, but I've found that if we put pressure on the ball BEFORE it gets to the big post player, we have a much better chance of causing TO's and keeping it out of her hands. We pressure the PG with our best man-to-man defender and force her into making a bad pass or into making a bad decision with the ball. Our goal is not to stop the big post player from scoring, but instead to keep her from even being able to touch the ball.
