Practice Award Question

I am a coach of a high school girls basketball team. We are looking at implementing a weekly practice award for the girl to reward good practice habits. The award will be two-fold, a different colored practice jersey that the awardee will wear that week. It will also say something on it to denote our team motto. The other part of the award is a traveling trophy that they weekly winners will be able to write either an inspirational quote on or a message to her teammates.
So my question is...How do we objectively decide who gets this weekly award. I do not want it to be solely coaches choice because accusations of favoritism may come in to play. We have toyed with the idea of keeping track of things like diving for loose balls, charges taken, solid box outs, etc. My main thing is I want the girls to really buy into practicing hard every day and I want the girls that deserve the award to be recognized. Any suggestions on how to do it?
